ITF International Umpire Course 2019, Malaysia
The ITF International Umpire Course was held from 24 May (Friday) to 26 May (Sunday), 2019 in Danum 4 & 5, Level 5 at Imperial Hotel located along Jalan Datuk Tawi Sli, 93250 Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. The Course was conducted by Prof Dato Dr Grandmaster Leong Wai Meng (Vice President of International Taekwon-Do Federation and Chairman of ITF Umpire Committee) and Master Kim Jong Chol (8th Dan and Deputy Chairman of ITF Umpire Committee) of DPR Korea. They were assisted by former World Champion from DPR Korea, Master Kim Yong Gun (8th Dan). Master Kim Yong Gun is currently the Assistant Coach of the national team of DPR Korea.
This was the first time the Sarawak Taekwon-Do Association ITF hosted the International Umpire Course. Members of the Sarawak ITF felt very honoured to be accorded this privilege. find full article and photos below:
