NEPAL, 24th National ITF Taekwon-Do Championship and U-15 National School ITF Taekwon-Do Championship-2025
The Tribhuvan Army Club emerged as the champion of the 24th National ITF Taekwon-Do Championship, while Bagmati Province performed brilliantly in the inaugural U-15 National School ITF Taekwon-Do Championship and was crowned the champion.The Army maintained its dominance by winning 17 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals in the competition organized by the Nepal International Taekwon-Do Federation. Bagmati Province came second, winning 8 gold, 4 silve, and 9 bronze medals, while Gandaki Province secured third place with 5 gold, 7 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
Bhim Bahadur Tamang from the Army and Sushmita Thapa Magar from Gandaki Province were declared the best male and female players, respectively, in the competition.
In the U-15 category, Bagmati Province became the team champion by winning 5 gold, 3 silver, and 7 bronze medals. Gandaki Province came second with 3 gold, 5 silver, and 4 bronze medals, while APF finished third with 2 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze medals. Bhupesh Nath of Sudurpaschim Province and Sandhya Khatri of Gandaki were selected as the best players in the U-15 men’s and women’s categories, respectively.
The opening ceremony was inaugurated by the Member Secretary of the National Sports Council, Mr. Tankalal Ghising, who served as the chief guest, along with special guests Mr. Anjan Dhamala and Mr. Samrat Kusari, both board members of the National Sports Council. The program was chaired by Mr. Prabin Kumar Karki, President of Nepal ITF. And the event was organized by Nepal International Taekwon-Do Federation as the annual calendar 2025 on 28 FEB and 1 March, 2025 at Trpureshwor, kathamandu and it’s approved by National Sports Council, Nepal
At the conclusion of the competition, Honorable Ramhari Khatiwada, Chairman of the State and Good Governance Management Committee and Member of the House of Representatives, presented trophies and medals to the winners to the best players
