20th National Taekwon-DO Championship, NEPAL
The 20th ITF Taekwon-Do Championships 2019 have concluded in 14th to 16th
December 2019 Ramechhap Galpa city of Nepal. Purna Bahadur Magar and Rina Dhimal from Nepal Army won the best player male and female respectively with four gold medal each.Total 33 Gold medal with 19 Gold medal Nepal Army team has claimed the team Champion and Nepal Armed police force claimed overall team second with won 6 Gold medal like ways province number 1 being team third with 4 gold medal.
In the opening ceremony of the Championships, Honorable Shyam Kumar Shrestha Ex.home minister has inaugurated the championships with lifting the light as the chief guest.and also has addressed his valuable speech in the ceremony. Mr. Anjan Dhamala president of Nepal ITF, Mr. Rup Sing Moktan chairperson of organizing committee and Mayor of Khandadevi Rural Municipal of Nepal and government officials have addressed their blessing speech to the Championships.
The Political leaders from Ramechhap District, Nepal ITF leaders and members, , Journalist, Business man and thousand peoples were attended with kinnly
interest. 300 competitors have participated in the championships. The events were Individual and team sparring individual and team pattern and self defense
all together in 5 category.
The championships was organized by Nepal International Taekwon-Do Federation district committee of Ramechhap and supported by Nepal
ITF. Mr.Dhan Sing Moktan has welcomed to all invited guests and participants.The Championships were run for 3 days starting from 14th and closing on 16th December 2019. National TV, News papers, FM Radio and
Local Medias have totally focused and covered the news of championships.
