Thailand is now ranked the 34th most Covid 19 affected country in the world – a far cry from the 127th position in mid-2020. With 20,000 plus daily new cases and 200 daily deaths the healthcare system is stretched beyond coping.Provincial hospitals are trying their best to handle the souring numbers brought about by citizens returning to their home province.
Master Moulden and his wife Sabum Rachanok have been doing what they can on line to keep students actively motivated and staying positive during these very stressful times. Many families are struggling to survive financially, particularly those with small businesses and restaurants.Healthcare workers require specialized protective clothing which can only be used before being discarded and therefore a high priority.
Whilst only a drop in the supply chain ocean Master Moulden and Sabum Rachanok donated 10,000 Baht worth of protective suits to their local hospital where they live in Inburi town. The head of nursing Somnuk Suvanaphoote and the head of the physiotherapy Phongpan Ninprasat at the hospital were on hand to receive the donation.
Let’s hope the World can recover and everyone can resume their previous lifestyles.
