2nd ITF TaeKwon-Do Lumbini Provincial Pro. Championship-2023
The 2nd ITF Taemwon-Do Lumbini Provincial Pro. Championship on the 3-4 November, 2023 at Tansen, Palpa. The championship was organized by the Palapa District Taekwon-Do Association and Co-organized by the the Palpa ITF District Black Belt Committee. In the competition, there will be competition in single sparring among players weighing from 46 kg to 52 kg for women and from 49 kg to 55 kg for men. According to the organizer, the second professional Lumwini province level ITF Taekwondo tournament had been held in memory of taekwondo players Rita and Anil. On the men’s side, Mr. Birendra Budha Magar from Palpa and Savina Shrestha from Gulmi on the women’s side. The first runner-up in the competition received a cash prize of NPR 30/30 thousand as well as a gold medal, certificate and shield. Tilak Budha Magar of Rolpa and Basanti Bishwas karma of Nawalparasi came second and received NPR 20/20 thousand in cash along with medals, certificates and shields. On the men’s side, Ujjwal Gahatraj of Palpa defeated Praveen Zedi Magar from the host team and on the women’s side Lalita Budhathoki of Bardiya defeated Roshni Thapa from the host Palpa District Taekwondo Association and won NPR 10/10 thousand in cash as well as a gold medal, certificate and shield.
