Nepal ITF “Anti Doping Awarness and Self defense” workshop
On 9 April 2021 “Play True Day” -a day that is dedicated to Clean Sport and is intended to raise awareness among athletes, the sporting public and others about the importance of protecting Clean Sport.
Nepal ITF organized ” Anti Doping Awareness & Self Defense Workshop” in different colleges in Kathmandu on 9th April, 2021. Event was coordinated and conducted by Nepal ITF Executive Member Sabum Manoj Khadka(Data Protection Coordinator, Nepal). Nepal ITF organizes such events every year to promote and brand ITF Taekwon-Do through Awareness & Self defence Workshop.
” Anti Doping Awareness & Self Defense Workshop” event was conducted in two sessions. First session was awareness through a multimedia rich presentation that contains this year’s WADA theme “What does Play True mean to you” backed with Taekwon-Do Philosophy of Late General Choi Hong Hi vision of “Taekwon-Do as Way of Life”
Second Session was Practical session in which participants learned some basic self defense techniques of Taekwon-Do. Around 250 participants.
